Document Drafting Services

Under Louisiana civil code, notaries public have a broader scope of powers than in other states. In addition to signature verification, notaries public have the authority to draft legal documents. Outside of Louisiana, this is a power reserved for attorneys. Utilizing a Louisiana notary can be much more efficient and cost effective than using an attorney for these needs. Providing legal advice and representation in court, however, remain powers only attorneys can execute.
